Mexico. This Thursday 15 of February will begin the "Summit on Needs and Opportunities in the Research of the Energy Impact of Use of Air Conditioning in Mexico", a two-day event that will be held at the University of California Del Carmen House 1, Mexico City.
The objective of this summit is to discuss the impact of the growing demand for electricity for the use of air conditioning in Mexico's energy landscape, in addition to identifying potential to reduce waste, barriers to the implementation of new policies and emerging opportunities for R & D collaboration
The workshop is part of the Mexico Cooling Initiative, a high-impact research-oriented effort that seeks to raise awareness of the importance of the issue, support effective objectives and develop an action plan to design and implement energy policies and cooling technologies of air.
The plenary sessions will begin at 9: 00 am The workshop is presented in coordination with the Energy Secretariat (SENER) and the National Commission for the Efficient Use of Energy (CONUEE).
