The York YZ Chiller uses an advanced advanced technology of variable speed drives and magnetic bearing with which a single mobile system is obtained suspended in a magnetic field, which does not require lubrication.
This technology requires an 80 percent less moving parts than traditional transmission systems lubricated with oil or coolant. The result is greater reliability, less need for maintenance and better efficiency. With the YZ it is possible to achieve annual energy savings of up to 35 percent compared to traditional oil-lubricated bearing chillers.
